(Sarayan). Running through or pervading. Sarayan is the pervasion of the entity by Being. Although it is universal, it varies in intensity, reaching its highest degree in the Perfect Man.
(Satwa) is Allah's Chastisement of His slaves. Within the world of the breaths, which is the world that is unveiled during Allah's Self-disclosure, each breath is an assault of the awe of that Self-disclosure.

(Sayr fillah). The Journey in Allah, from the Names through the Attributes to Oneness.
(Sayri afaqi). In this Journey the traveller contemplates all the signs within the creation. This contemplation leads to the Creator.
(Sayri anfusi). The traveller contemplates the signs within his own self. This Journey ultimately takes the traveller to Allah.
(Sayr il Allah). The Journey of the traveller (salik) towards Allah, from the lower self to the heart. It is a Journey through the unveiling of the Names.
(Sayr ma' Allah). This is the Return Journey to creation while subsisting in Allah and seeing all things as manifestations of Allah.
(Sayyid). This title is given to a descendant of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (May the Salutations of Allah be upon him and Peace), who is the Master and best of all the Messengers.
