Majestic, The

(Al Jalil). The Majestic, the Mighty. One of the Beautiful Names of Allah.


(Jalal). The Divine Majesty. Jalal indicates Allah's Incomparability. His Qualities of Majesty include His Transcendence, His Inaccessibilty, His Magnificence, His Tremendousness. Awe is experienced when the heart is overwhelmed by jalal.

Major sins

(Kaba'ir) are the major sins which are ultimately forgiven. There is only one unforgivable sin and that is the sin of associating anything at all with Allah.

Making claims

(Da'wa). This is a Divine Attribute, not a human attribute. Therefore when a man makes claims it is an illness. It is blatant discourtesy. Only the slave whose heart has prostrated to Allah is free of making claims.
