(Ar Rahim). The All-Compassionate. One of the Beautiful Names of Allah. Allah bestowed this Beautiful Name of His upon His Beloved Muhammad al Mustapha (May the Salutations of Allah be upon him and Peace).

Compeller, The

(Al Jabbar). The Compeller, the Overbearing. One of the Beautiful Names of Allah.


(Muzahama). To compete or engage in competition (with Allah). Such a situation never occurs for the true slave because he always remains Allah's slave and does not make claims to Lordship.

Complete words
al-kalimat al-tammat

(Kalimat at Tammat). It is in connection with these complete words that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (May the Salutations of Allah be upon him and Peace) would pray, "I seek refuge in Allah's complete words" ("Audhu bi'kalimat Illahi-tammat").


(Tamam) is the condition of an entity whose creation is lacking in nothing. An entity can have this completion without having perfection. However, perfection implies completion.

(Ruju' Idtirari). Every created thing must return to Allah by the same invisible route. This is utterly unavoidable. "Oh you, man! Truly you are ever toiling on towards your Lord - painfully toiling - but you shall meet Him" (The Qur'an 84:6).
