kibriya'
Grandeur

(Kibriya'). Magnificence or grandeur. Kibriya' indicates the Glorious Divine Grandeur which is the symbol for Allah in His Overwhelming Radiant Greatness. Allah's Grandeur destroys everything within His lovers and intoxicates them in the same manner as the Drink of Divine Love does. It is that place to which all Allah's yearning lovers long to return. Grandeur overpowers them and bewilders them. It is like the Radiant Sun.

(Sharab). The Wine of Divine Love is poured by the Cupbearer. Once the lover has tasted its inexpressible sweetness he is lost in It. The drop fell into the Ocean and disappeared!
('Ashiq). Lover. The 'ashiq is the one who searches for Allah with intense yearning and longing, never allowing himself rest in his pursuit of the Beloved. The perfect lover of Allah loves Allah in every Self-disclosure.
(Sama'). The spiritual concert or 'audition' or 'listening'. This term refers specifically to the Sufi gatherings where music and song are employed as a means of opening the heart to inrushes of knowledge and awareness. During the spritual concert, the listener may experience ecstasy and find Allah, The Real within that ecstasy. However, before true ecstasy can be experienced the listener must be spiritually mature, having been prepared through discipline and perpetual Remembrance of Allah. Without this initial contraction of spiritual endeavour the expansion of ecstasy will not be real. The Spiritual Concert is not suitable for the novice. True Sama' is a bird which flies from Allah to Allah. Allah is the singer and Allah is the hearer. At this Divine Feast the singer and the hearer become One.
(Shams). The Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustapha (May the Salutations of Allah be upon him and Peace) is the Sun of the Celestial Secrets. The existent entities are the shadows cast by his Radiant Splendour. He is the Sun of the Morning Light. 'Light the world- too long in darkness, with Muhammad's radiant name'. Shams is also a symbol of the Spirit and an indication to the higher intellect. When the heart is touched by the rays of the Divine Sun, all doubts are removed and the heart begins to radiate that light, both inward and outward. The sun is the greater celestial body of the heart - the inward representation of the outward sun of the universe and a manifestation of the Name of Allah – al Nur – The Light., as in the Qur’anic verse: "Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth". Al Nur is the manifestation of divinity and the attributes of the Holy Names that are beyond the reach of the human - exclusive to Allah. The sun is an indication to the state of Ahadiyyah - uniqueness.
