(Tawhil). Turbidity or disorder or disruption. While engaged in spiritual struggle during the early stages of the Journey, the traveller will experience periods of turbidity due to his spiritual imbalances. Turbidity and disruption are the direct result of his immaturity and lack of knowledge. When these periods of turbidity are traversed with patience, surrender, trust and gratitude the traveller will gain an increase in Knowledge of Allah.
