Supporter, The
Al Sanad

(Al Sanad). The Supporter. One of the beautiful Names of Allah.

Supreme Assembly
al-mala' al-a'la

(Mala al 'ala). The higher plenum or Supreme Assembly. The Supreme Assembly indicates the angels and those spiritual beings, the Noble Friends, who are closest to Allah.

Supreme Authority, The
Al Sultaan

(Al Sultaan). The Supreme Authority. One of the beautiful Names of Allah.

Supreme Element
al-'unsur al-azam

('Unsur al Atham). This is the Materia Prima as a non-manifested Divine possibility. It is 'the dust' in its purely principial nature.

(Al Muta'ali). The Supreme One. One of the Beautiful Names of Allah.

Supreme Pen
al-qalam al-a'la

(Al Qalam al 'Ala). The first objective individualisation takes place in the Supreme Pen which distinguishes the creatures from the Creator and imprints their forms of existence upon the Preserved Tablet.


(Bawadih). This term refers to whatever comes suddenly upon the heart from the Unseen causing a shock of grief or joy.
